- FCL
- Full Container Load: dedicated container space for a shipment.
- LCL
- Less than Container Load: shared container space for smaller shipments.
- CBM
- Cubic metres: a measure of cargo volume based on packed dimensions.
- Gross weight
- The goods plus their packaging, pallets and other transport packing.
- Chargeable weight
- The weight used for pricing, based on the service's actual and volumetric rules.
- Incoterm
- A trade rule that allocates delivery tasks, costs and risks between buyer and seller.
- Packing list
- A document describing the packages, contents, measurements and weights.
- Cargo ready date
- The date the goods are expected to be available in their agreed shipping condition.
